Real Estate Investment Aggregator Platform
A platform that makes real-estate investing easy and affordable for everyone, allowing users to invest in property-backed assets starting from just ₹500. It brings together over 25 trusted real-estate partners — Growpital, AltDRX, Grip and more — across farmland, commercial spaces, co-investments and real-estate bonds. As Tech Lead, designed and built the backend systems, optimized performance and ensured secure transactions, integrated partner platforms, and created tools for users to track their investments and returns in one place.

How it was built
Investorey makes real-estate investing something anyone can start, with property-backed assets from just ₹500. The platform aggregates more than 25 trusted partners — Growpital, AltDRX, Grip and others — across farmland, commercial spaces, co-investments and real-estate bonds, wrapped in tools that let users track every investment and return in one place.
As Tech Lead I designed and built the backend systems on Node.js with the KOA framework over PostgreSQL: investment flows, secure transaction handling, JWT-based authentication and multi-tenant data separation so partner platforms could integrate without ever seeing each other's books. Performance optimisation was constant work — investor money cannot wait on slow queries — and every partner integration was verified end to end before it touched real funds.
The frontend pairs React with Tailwind CSS and Material UI, animated with LottieFiles where motion explains better than text. I worked with the design and product teams to analyse each workflow first and implement second, so the complexity of fractional property ownership never leaked into the interface investors actually use.

How the work ran

Work moved in daily Agile increments — distributed in the morning, tracked by evening — with priorities set explicitly so partner deadlines, transaction safety and new features were always ordered, never juggled.

I assisted team members with their technical issues directly and participated in the meetings that turned daily effort into weekly targets, keeping delivery predictable across design, product and engineering.
